For now, I am going to stick with basic, chocolate advent calendars. They are cute to look at, fun to open, and the kids love the chocolate goodie at the end of the day:

These calendars are very cute! I am making an advent calendar with knitted Christmas stockings to fill up with chocolate. They should be all done by the end of the weekend... I will send you a picture when I'm done. Might be a nice project for next year :)
