Costume Carnival

Every semester at Jessica's school they throw a costume carnival. The school pays a bunch of models to model for a day according to some theme, and all of the students get to draw and photograph the models and just practice their

I got to tag along, and had a blast. I can't wait for the next time, as its rare that you get to spend 20 minutes working on one shot with the model not moving (or complaining!)

The theme this year was Rock and Roll, and it turned out really well. I didn't spend much time in the Elvis or Madonna rooms; rather I focused on the big room with 4 models going at once. A little more action :)

I put a few of the pictures I took on this story, and you can see the rest over here:

(Post a comment if you can't view the gallery, I'm trying out a new format for it.)

Hi Andrew,
Maybe I am the only one who can't see your gallery??!! I've tried several times and get as far as the 2nd screen where it says "loading image". Maybe my problem is still being "dial-up." Also, is there a way to get back to your home page from your photo galleries (others you have done)- I've always ended up going out and starting over.
I really enjoy your website and seeing what you and Shannon are up to. Your new house looks wonderful!
Thanks, Anne

Hello Anne,
I don't think you're the only one, but you're probably the only one to mention it so far :-) The problem might be that you have an old version of flash installed on your computer, and it can't run the gallery tool for some reason. You can download the latest version here:

Regarding the older galleries, you just have to hit back a lot :( I'll see about wrapping it in a frame so that the back button works the way people will want it to.

Glad you like the website :D

Oh yeah, and here's the pictures from the flash gallery, but in the old gallery format.

Thanks Andrew. I downloaded the latest Flash & the gallery works now. I'm sure I will be able to view it better when we get cable or DSL. I loved your pictures!
