This last weekend we had another Open House so we went up to Sacramento to spend time with the family and then drove quickly away from the heat in Disco Bay to the Berkeley Marina with the dogs. Teenie and LuLu loved playing in the water and then we walked all around the Cesaer Chavez park and saw big kites. It was very fun and relaxing. A great end to a great weekend.
Ohh, and our Magnolia bloomed for the first time just in time for the Open House.
I thought people may enjoy some kid updates.
1. Ty'Tiana and I volunteered at a guinea pig rescue (http://www.cavyspirit.com/) last month. She is getting a guinea pig so I thought we would kill two birds with one stone and get our volunteer hours out of the way (mandatory for Big Bros/Big Sis) and educate her on the care of guinea pigs. It was really fun for me, but Ty'Tiana didn't think it was all that fun.
2. Here is baby Kyle (Aden's brother) who is going to be turning one in July. Time flies! We made Father's day crowns for Kyle's dad and here are pictures before I put the crown on him and after. He put all the stickers on himself. He is such a cutie.

We took LuLu to the groomers today for her first hair cut. We figured she would like it better being trimmed in the soon-to-be summer heat. She walked out of the salon with a new, pink bow and bandana.
(Mom)-P.S. The groomers said they couldn't make long distance phone calls so they had to call my cell phone, hang up, and wait for me to call them back. Classy joint huh!
Our house has officially been on the MLS for 5 days now. Too bad it would have sold by now if it was two years ago!!! I just had the first realtor/buyer come through a couple of minutes ago. I wasn't expecting it, but now I know how to be more prepared so bring on the lookers. P.S. The realtor didn't call and give me any warning (tsk tsk).

We replaced some of the Pergo flooring due to some water damage under the fridge. It is a laminate named Tropical Seagrass. We like how it looks, but laminate sounds so cheap when you walk on it:

After interviews with 11 different people, I finally got offered a job at Google. I start April 17th :)
We're totally excited here, and I can't wait to start. I looks like an awesome place to work; everyone is super sharp, they don't sweat the small stuff (like you don't have sick days, just stay home if you're sick), and they feed me for free (3 meals a day).
We'll probably end up moving into the Silicon Valley somewhere. Shannon is the resident real estate wizard so I just leave it all up to her. She has a talent for finding diamonds in the rough.
You've probably heard about it since I've been interviewing since January, but now its official!
We had our friends Peter & Danika over today to make cakes for our neighbors kids. They're (our neighbor's twins) are turning 2, and they wanted Thomas the Tank Engine cakes.
So Shannon and Danika put together some awesome cakes for them.
Also, Peter is a member of the juggling club at work and has been juggling for about 5 years now.
So be brought over his fire clubs :)
I think I'm going to have to get me a set of these.
Its that time again, or at least it will be when the rain stops. We had a little break in the storms on Saturday morning so we had a garage sale.
As garage sales go, we set out to sell the bookcases, but we didn't. Our neighbors sold about 3 bags full of babyclothes though, so it should be considered a success.
The ducks are back again this year it appears, and as the photo below shows, the neighbor girl had a lot of fun playing with them.
