Our travels were great and it was so good to see all the family in Sacramento. We are back now, so I have been combing craigslist and the kids have been reconnecting with every toy in the house (especially the Legos). They are happy to get back into the rhythm of farm chores. They are in charge of helping daddy feed and change the chicken box. Today, the chickens got a new home out of a wardrobe box. Andrew is busy building the chicken coop outside so the kids' jobs are to decorate the inside of the beams with their artwork. Pencils and chalk have left funny scribbles only chickens can understand.
Blake and Reade wanted to play in the chicken box before the bedding was put down:
Off to bed I go. Tomorrow is dentist day.

Them: Active bodies itching for the next hit of beach, battles, and mischief.
