Tears

Why do my kids cry all day long?  Today has been one of those days where two out of three kids are crying at any given time.  Jeesh.

Red Writing

Well, here is the link to our home inspection.  I have never seen so much red in my life.  Enjoy it and now I know better than to step into a house when it has been pending twice before (within two months).

9515 6th Ave NW, Seattle, WA 98117

P.S. I am posting this online in hopes that other people search for it on Google and come across this so they don't waste $450 on a home inspection.

Update

I am cracking up.  My bag got pulled out for extra screening in Seattle and it didn't make it back on the plane in time.  I started to question if I had illegal drugs with me (of course not), but I did have a whole set of clothes wrapped in the dry cleaning bag from the hotel because Piper had a huge diaper blow out.  No drug sniffing dog could resist that one.

Stayed

I guess my luggage wanted to stay back in Seattle.  Lame.  I know how it feels.

Inspection

For those of you who know us, the house turned out to be a Eurovan.  Back to the drawing board.

Dessert

Done.

Dinner

Bitterroot in Ballard.  Pulled pork, ribs, Mac 'n cheese, whiskey, etc.  Enough said.

Our Return

We are in Seattle to finalize some house things.  It is cold, cozy, and rainy.  The boys are at home with Grandma so we get a mini vacation.  Mini, meaning still with baby.

Northward Ho

We are moving again!  This time, we are moving up to Seattle.  It is time to pack up the family and migrate north.  We are super excited for all the new possibilites.  Andrew will be transferring to the Google Seattle office.  We are in escrow with a house we hope to turn into an urban homestead.  So far, I am beyond excited and haven't felt overwhelmed at all.  I think Seattle is in my blood!  I hope Andrew feels the same way too.

Books to prepare the kids.

Blake drew baby Piper on a box.

Ride 'Em

It is only February, but I am getting all jazzed that I get to enter Blake into the mutton bustin' competition in the rodeo this summer.  We are still looking for some sheep so he can practice his cowboy moves.

Love'd

Another day of love has transpired.  It was a good Valentine's day.  The day after can be just as fun too:

Switching Gears

I have something up my sleeve. I can't wait to go into more detail. For now, I am using my blog as a bulletin board for ideas (I am not a pinterest user!).

Golden Ginkgo

Faux Jackalope

I am really wanting a vintage school gymnasium clock with a cage.
Ebay has nothing for me though.

Copycat

Other bloggers have such great ideas. Why not steal them and call them my own? One woman does little videos where she asks her daughter simple questions. My trial run does not have an adorable background, nor are my children in adorable outfits. Maybe next time around I will get those things in line too. Note to self: Do these on different days so the little one doesn't just copy what the older one
said.

P.S. I fully am aware there is a Prime Minister in Canada.  I have no clue why Canada was the first thing out of my mouth.

Catch Up

Guilty pleasure -> Catching up on past Glee episodes. I am a sucker for duets and I got a whole episode full of them.

Phoebe Yip

I sold a chair on craigslist today to a very sweet woman named Phoebe Yip.  We got to talking and she told me she is getting her Etsy shop up and running to sell her wares.  You know you have some extra pieces of wood laying around your house just waiting for some embellishment.  Check her out at www.littlecarpenter.com.

Training Dragons

It all started with one cereal box.  Blake grabbed a box of Cheerios at the store today because it had a free DVD sampler of How To Train Your Dragon.  After the sampler, he built his own dragon out of Legos.  He brought it to me and asked if I would like to pet his dragon named Little Soft Spot.  I thought that was a very cute name and asked him questions about his dragon.  He told me it was Little Soft Spot's birthday tomorrow.  I asked if his birthday could be today so I could make some birthday cupcakes.  We had a little party in his honor after lunch today.  A girl doesn't need much of an excuse to bake cupcakes!!!
